The Broadcast Video Director will lead a video team and volunteers to oversee the creative and functional use of LIVE video recording within the Blankenbaker Worship Center. They will need to have hands on past experience that can be put to good use recoding LIVE video feed to serve the in-room experience as well as both online and regional campus congregations. The Broadcast Video Director will also have the responsibility of leading and shepherding staff, contractors and volunteers for all weekend services and special events.

This is what you would get to do!

• Direct all aspects of live and broadcast video involved in weekend services and B.B. WC events
• Partner with the Broadcast Team Production Director, Broadcast Team Leads, Creative Team, and Creative Arts Executive Producer to design and create live video applications beneficial to all programming happening within the B.B. Worship Center (WC) venue
• Manage all live video assets and video spaces within Worship Center
• Lead, recruit, equip, schedule, encourage, and lead through disciple-making of the B.B. WC video team which includes staff, contractors, and volunteers

You should already own these:

• Competency in LIVE video production and HD/SDI video systems, ROSS switchers, Cannon cameras, matrix routers, recording gear and various digital video equipment (Black Magic, AJA, Apple and PC)
• A solid working knowledge of how audio, lighting and staging integrates with live and broadcast video
• Ability to problem-solve and clearly communicate solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership abilities especially when it comes to developing and equipping contract/volunteer leaders of differing skill levels
• 3+ years live video production experience
• College Degree or equivalent experience
• An Engaged member of SE who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership of the church
