What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

  • Assist the Stewardship Pastor in discipling the church family to live out true biblical stewardship.
  • Plan, promote and coordinate church-wide stewardship efforts.
  • Identify/develop the tools and resources that will communicate the principles of biblical stewardship.
  • Participate in the development of stewardship ministry strategies and plans.
  • Develop partnerships with campuses and other ministries to achieve ministry objectives.
  • Recruit, train and lead volunteers who serve within the ministry.
  • Create and deliver digital content necessary to support a digital ministry strategy.
  • Teach stewardship classes.
  • Serve as a confidential resource and coach to disciple church members in stewardship.
  • Develop, monitor and share key giving metrics in support of church-wide stewardship growth objectives.

Our Must-Haves:

  • Solid understanding of biblical principles of stewardship and generosity.
  • Capable leader - able to build and inspire a team toward action; experience recruiting and leading volunteers.
  • Able to plan and coordinate events and programs.
  • Excellent writer, teacher, and speaker - good delivery in-person and on-camera.
  • Self-motivated and responsible.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - connects well and establishes heathy working relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of ministry leadership experience; pastoral experience in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Living out faithful stewardship in all areas of life personally committed to being a generous person.
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantras in tangible ways.
