The Missionary Engagement Associate will work with the missions team to streamline processes within the department to serve missionaries and partners. The Missionary Engagement Associate will mobilize a system of support and care for missionaries Southeast supports, be their key point of contact and collaborate with partners, team members, volunteers, and other resources to serve Southeast missionaries. They will have operational responsibilities such as granting submissions, new applications, generating and managing reports for our CRM system, managing funds and overseeing weekly prayer times, schedules and requests.

This is what you would get to do!

  • Mobilize volunteers and other resources to care for Southeast missionaries
  • Schedule and oversee weekly prayer time
  • Oversee communication, prayer cards and grant requests for missions
  • Manage missions house, maintenance and scheduling
  • Plan and communicate receptions for missionaries
  • Connect campus teams and missionaries
  • Manage online prayer request submissions
  • Create and assist with summary reports, CRM administration and check requests

 

You should already own these:

  • Ability to multitask
  • Highly relational and ability to collaborate with other areas

 

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  • 2-3 years of experience in Missions
  • Experience living cross culturally preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience managing systems, funds and/or event scheduling and preparation
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways.
