SE!KIDS Large Group Associate -Blankenbaker Campus

This role will shepherd and develop volunteers and lead age-appropriate (Preschool-5th Grade) large group worship services where our SE!KIDS can discover God, His Story and their place in it.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

  • Oversee all SE!KIDS Large Group worship services weekly at the Blankenbaker campus
  • Effectively run rehearsals in multiple worship rooms for each service
  • Provide script edits as appropriate for the Blankenbaker campus for three age groups. (Preschool, K-2, and 3-5th)
  • Represent the Blankenbaker campus by contributing in SE!KIDS Large Group Collaborative team meetings
  • Order and prepare all props needed for the weekly services
  • Train and oversee others as they teach and lead on stage and step in on stage when needed
  • Program worship service presentations in ProPresenter and schedule volunteers in Planning Center weekly
  • Contribute to writing scripts and production for special events within the Blankenbaker SE!KIDS ministry.

 

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with worship service production technology or willingness to learn (sound board, lighting programs etc.)
  • Intimate walk with the Father, Spirit led, and grounded in the Gospel
  • Ability to cast vision and lead by example and collaboratively work within a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Highly effective communication skills – spoken and written
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one); supports our Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church; lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways. https://www.southeastchristian.org/sermons/mantra/be-the-branch-2
