Marketing Manager – Creative Arts | Southeast Christian Church

Do you have a strong passion to use media to tell God's stories in an innovative and compelling fashion while maintaining alignment with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church?

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

  • Report directly to the Marketing Director and assist with all marketing initiatives from the Creative Arts team.
  • Create and deploy new, innovative campaigns for church-wide initiatives and church DNA campaigns.
  • Create new strategies for expansion across different digital and print platforms.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deploy internal and external church-wide marketing promotions city and nation-wide.
  • Oversee and manage digital web projects that work with graphic designers and website teams.
  • Create and lead digital media and advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • Deploy media across various platforms including but not limited to – social media, e-blasts, video, TV, digital signage, web, individual ministries, events, and print.

  • Communicate Effectively - Exchanges information, both verbally and non-verbally, among individuals, groups, or ministry teams to achieve a clear understanding of the message.
  • Innovate and Create - Must have the ability to promote and deploy media using mainstream platforms as well as new media formats, with a proven track-record for maintaining excellence and utilizing innovative thinking.
  • Multitask - Must be an analytical, detail-oriented, self-starter that is able to multi-task and coordinate several projects concurrently.
  • Manage Ambiguity - Strong time management and organizational skills. Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines and deliverables, and small amounts of information.
  • Problem Solve - Identifies the true nature of a problem, analyzes the problem to gain a comprehensive picture, and develops and implements solutions to the problem.
  • Plan and Manage Workflow Details - Provides clear direction and expectations on how a team will accomplish goals effectively. Delegates tasks and projects appropriately to team members.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND MEMBERSHIP:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or comparable work experience
  • 3+ years of professional marketing experience
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one); supports our Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church; lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways. https://www.southeastchristian.org/sermons/mantra/be-the-branch-2
