Description

We are looking for someone to support both the Student and SE!KIDS’s ministries by organizing communications, behind the scenes logistics and execution of programming for Student and SE!KIDS’s ministries. Student and SE!KIDS’s require a heavy amount of administrative work because of registrations for events, clearing of volunteers, and communications. Our desire is for this role to handle the administrative tasks for events and programming so our ministers are freed up to shepherd.


Essential Functions

  • Help organize and plan events, programs, and communications
  • Oversee operations for events
  • Implement communication strategies through mailings, electronic updates, print materials and communications requests
  • Primary oversight of church database for Student/SE!KIDS’s Ministry at the Bullitt County Campus
  • Update social media and website when necessary
  • Develop a working knowledge and understanding of SCC culture, policies & procedures
  • Monitor budgets, handle purchases, check requests, deposits etc.
  • Assist in ordering supplies for Student Ministry and SE!KIDS's Ministries
  • Attend and participate in all appropriate staff and team meetings
  • Work with other staff at the campus to support all-in events and fill gaps for other ministries when needed.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
  • Capable of easily learning new computer concepts
  • Flexible with a positive attitude.

 

Required Education, Experience, and Required Membership

  • High School degree (or equivalent)
  • Ministry, administrative, or project management experience preferred
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one); supports our Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church; lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways. https://www.southeastchristian.org/who-we-are
