The Live Music Director is someone that is dedicated to investing in and shepherding volunteers to lead and share that same Vision/Mission.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Lead weekend Teams in execution and coaching to provide an excellent, intentional worship
  • Partner with weekend worship leaders to facilitate worship sets, flexible flow moments and special elements
  • Assist Worship Programming Director in innovating and executing engaging, meaningful worship moments with Blankenbaker weekend services
  • Implement and maintain excellence of execution in weekend services, through the lens of Southeast Worship vision and values
  • Recruit, onboard, schedule and develop Blankenbaker backline  musicians
  • Build Ableton sessions for Blankenbaker

  • Strong communication skills
  • Musical skills and/or lead vocal ability
  • Proven volunteer recruitment and training skills

  • Strong work ethic and is a team player/collaborator
  • Ableton
  • Planning Center online

 

 

Required Education, Ministry Experience, and SECC Membership:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry from a Bible college is preferred but not required
  • Experience in worship (minimum of 3 years)
  • Demonstrated alignment with the SCC Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision, Strategies
  • Engaged member of Southeast
