Description
We have an immediate opening at our E-Town Campus for a part-time Administrative Assistant. This administrative support position is an important connecting point in the life of our E-Town Campus. This person will ensure New Members, New Converts and Volunteers are communicated with as to next steps. A vital piece in helping to connect people to Jesus and with one another in alignment with the mission of Southeast Christian Church. If you are ministry minded, detail oriented, enjoy connecting with people and seeing them connect with Christ, this may be a position to consider!


Essential Functions

  • Management of details associated with new members, holds or transfers which would include weekly reporting of information to the Blankenbaker Campus. Database management and running reports and sending out information about Starting Point in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate weekly baptism schedule
  • Collect data and report weekly attendance
  • Maintain calendar and phone calls and possibly emails for the Connections Pastor
  • Coordinate room reservations, setup and miscellaneous logistical details (including catering) for on campus Connections.
  • Oversee details of events such as Decision Guide meetings, Baptistery meetings and Starting Point
  • Assist in communications, organization and implementation of meetings with Decision Guides & Baptism Attendant teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with volunteers across ministry areas
  • Assist with weekly Connection Card collection and follow-up
  • Implementation of communication strategies such as mass mailings, electronic updates and requests to Creative Arts’ Ministry.
  • Assist in coordination and implementation for special events, including Family Dedication, overnights etc.
  • 1 x monthly availability (2) hours on Sunday and (3) hours that same Sunday evening for Starting Point connection.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous administrative assistant experience preferred
  • History of working with volunteers
  • Social Media adept preferred
  • Southeast Christian Church Membership
  • Demonstrated alignment with Southeast Christian Church’s Statement of Faith
