Description

This an opportunity to work alongside the Pastor of Residency & Theology to help build, develop, administer and operate the 215 Residency Program and PREPARE Student Program. You may be the person God is calling to help maintain and grow our intentional pathway for equipping, developing, and shepherding the next generation of church leaders.

 

Essential Functions – 215 Residency Program

  • Help lead, disciple, and develop the hearts and minds of Residents
  • Assist Pastor of Residency & Theology in equipping and empowering Residents and Ministry Mentors to fulfill their roles
  • Help recruit and onboard new Residents, including processing applications and interviewing candidates
  • Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing relationships with Resident Home Hosts
  • Help build and evaluate metrics to measure the program’s success
  • Help develop, administer, and execute Resident application and interview process

Essential Functions – PREPARE (High School & College-Age Students)

  • Plan and execute quarterly events for students and their parents
  • Help administer and operate the PREPARE Scholarship program—including processing applications, interviewing candidates, managing disbursements, and engaging with students
  • Help plan and execute college visits for students interested in Bible College

Essential Competencies

  • Good verbal and written communication and facilitation skills; ability  to lead up; strong influencing ability
  • Ability to recognize and develop ministry calling and giftedness in others
  • Ability to recognize areas for improvement - create goals/deadlines and see multiple projects to completions
  • Strong disciple maker
  • Good basic Biblical and theological understanding
  • Possess gifts of discernment and administration
  • Commitment to professional and personal development
  • Ability to travel for college visits on occasion

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  • Bachelor’s degree; ministry degree preferred
  • Three or more years of ministry experience
  • An engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
