This Missions Associate will give specific attention to communications in regards to marketing strategies for identifying, equipping and mobilizing Southeast members to engage in mission opportunities. They will be careful to do all things in a way that promotes and maintains alignment with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

Essential Functions

• Missions ministry liaison to the Southeast Communications ministry
• Gather Missions information, updates and changes from the Missions team and coordinate with Communications ministry to update our website and social media
• Develop social media campaigns that lead to member engagement
• Promote ST trips, training classes, GMHC, partners, etc. with verifiable metrics by campus.
• Understand and implement social media marketing strategies
• Know and research partners and opportunities to serve
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• College degree preferred
• 2:6 training (done or willing to go through)
• Strong missions experience, long term or short term
• Strong ministry experience as staff or lay leader
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
