Description

Do you have a heart for ministry and excellent project management skills? Do you love researching best practices and creating efficient workflow and logistical processes? We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain effective operations systems for church-wide initiatives, such as Easter, Christmas,student and children's ministry camps, and the prayer Initiative, in order to achieve the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church. 

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement effective project management tools.
  • Manage all logistics involved in successfully executing multiple timelines across campuses and ministry departments.
  • Build inter-departmental communication/relationships.
  • Collaborate with other ministries to create process improvements (IT, Events, Legal, Communications, etc.).
  • Research and work with outside contractors, vendors, etc.
  • Manage complex budgets for multiple initiatives.
  • Provide logistical support with contracts, check requests, purchase orders, catering, etc.
  • Perform administrative duties, including EMS scheduling, ordering supplies, managing calendars, making phone calls, etc.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain long-term healthy work relationship with peers, supervisor, team leads, etc. among different ministries and campuses; team-player with a win-win mentality.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word, Powerpoint and/or Keynote, and Adobe. 
  • Highly organized with ability to multitask and remain self-motivated.
  • Project management skills and/or experience.
  • Strong communication skills; grammar/editing skills a plus.
  • Flexibility in schedule in order to meet ministry needs.
  • Steady demeanor under pressure.

 

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  •  Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in operations/project management.
  • Engaged member of SECC; supporting the Statement of Faith and submitting to the leadership established by church.
