Description
 "We are excited to share that Student Ministry at our newest Campus in Elizabethtown is rapidly growing! The time has come to hire a new full-time position. This is a rather unique position in that it is both Girls Ministry Associate and partially  Administrative Assistant. We desire someone to invest in our female students and leaders, but also manage the many administrative tasks required to make the Student Ministry move forward. If you have been called to pastor students, love the E-Town Community and are administratively talented. This may be the position for you!!"

Things you would be doing:
  • Be available to all MSM & HSM girls and volunteers throughout the week and during weekly programming
  • Attend weekly NextGen programming.  Encourage, equip & empower female volunteers/students. 
  • Develop a culture of discipleship for female volunteers and students.  Intentionally invest in girls/women.
  • Plan and carry-out girl-specific events: retreats, outings…
  • Develop, equip & oversee teams of volunteers to pastorally connect with moms and female students based on needs. 
  • Connect interested/potential volunteers to the on-boarding process. 
  • Attend and participate in weekly E’town staff and church-wide meetings.
  • Provide oversight for all things administrative for NextGen E’town.
  • Provide support for planning/executing of major NextGen events [i.e. Bible & Beach, Believe, MIX, Retreats, etc.]
  • Receive and respond to all general communications [phone, email, etc.] regarding questions and ministry information.
  • Handle purchasing/ordering of items, reservations and ministry scheduling.
  • Manage ministry communication strategies – mailings, emails, website, social media, bulletin, NEXT book, etc.

  • An active, daily relationship with God that flows into daily life
  • A Self-Starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily and upcoming tasks.
  • Capacity to handle a variety of details and plans at the same time.
  • Have an understanding of biblical disciple making
  • Natural Relationship Builder - building rapport and trust with people
  • Motivate Others - create energy, engagement and commitment from others
  • Enjoy sheperding/pastoring others in their physical, spiritual, emotional needs
  • Strategic thinker who generates and applies strategies to meet anticipated future needs
  • Proficient in MAC and/or Windows software
To be considered you must:
  • Have a demonstrated alignment with the SCC Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision and Strategies
  • Be an engaged member of SCC or willing to become one
  • Have a Bachelor's degree, prefer a Bible degree, but must have youth ministry experience
This is a Sunday through Thursday position.
