WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

  • Communications - Manage Associate Pastor Email Inbox and Review + Manage Social Media DM’s.
  • Calendar - Manage Associate Pastor Calendar/Manage Meetings with SE Staff/Elders/Deacons SE Missions Partners/External Pastors.
  • Manage Model Week/Protect Writing + Deep Work Time
  • Phone - Manage Calls/Manage Voice Mails/Respond when appropriate.
  • Financial Management - Manage Associate Pastor Expense Reports/Certify/Manage Bill.com Approvals
  • Purchasing - Ordering Supplies/Ordering Books/Ordering Meals/Ordering Apparel/etc.
  • Travel - Travel Arrangements (flights, hotels, rental cars, field coordination, etc.)/Expense Reports
  • Document Support - Document Creation/Editing/Reviews
  • SPIRE – Support Breakout Coordination/Communicate Logistics with Speaker/Contract/Room Locations/Liaison with Venue
  • Provide Associate Pastor with clear timelines
  • Implement Associate Pastor ideas in a practical manner and take action to capitalize on opportunities
  • Sermon research

OUR MUST HAVES:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead self and others well to facilitate creative problem solving
  • Ability to initiate projects, to remain focused and organized, and to attain strategic goals within stated timelines
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects
  • Ability to work under pressure in a confidential environment with the upmost integrity
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out church Mantras in tangible ways
