Why you want this job: You will be part of the Care Ministry Team! You’ll assist in connecting people to the help they need.

 

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

    • Answer Care Calls and Emails; Triage calls to the appropriate team member, support group, mentor program or professional counselor based on the needs of the individual(s) and the situation
    • Volunteer clearing; connect all individuals into the volunteer process and make sure all guideline requirements and trainings are met
    • Facilitate Staff Care; assist the staff member in finding the counselor that best fits their needs and situation
    • Assist with Encounter and Support & Recovery groups
    • Supervise Care Ministry support staff
    • Attend Care Ministry leaders meetings; send agenda and action steps
    • Procure rooms, supplies and meals for events in Care Ministry
    • Assist with Men’s and Women’s Mentors
    • Assist with benevolence procedures
    • Work with other SE ministries to promote Care events
    • Assist with financial requests; track invoices and process them with accounting
