What You’ll Actually Be Doing

- Answer Care Calls and Emails; Triage calls to the appropriate team member, support group, mentor program or professional counselor based on the needs of the individual(s) and the situation
- Volunteer clearing; connect all individuals into the volunteer process and make sure all guideline requirements and trainings are met
- Facilitate Staff Care; assist the staff member in finding the counselor that best fits their needs and situation
- Assist with Encounter and Support & Recovery groups
- Supervise Care Ministry support staff
- Attend Care Ministry leaders meetings; send agenda and action steps
- Procure rooms, supplies and meals for events in Care Ministry
- Assist with Men’s and Women’s Mentors
- Assist with benevolence procedures
- Work with other SE ministries to promote Care events
- Assist with financial requests; track invoices and process them with accounting

- High School diploma required
- Experience in Administrative Assistant/Customer Service; preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and coachable to learn new technology
