This Missions Associate will give specific attention to Short-Term Trip logistics mobilizing Southeast members to engage in mission opportunities and grow toward spiritual maturity. They will be careful to do all things in a way that promotes and maintains alignment with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

Essential Functions

• Effective communication with Southeast ministries to grow the awareness of short-term mission trips within their ministry
• Oversee planning and logistical processes for trips and classes
• Participating in recruiting, training, retaining and appreciating trip members and leaders
• Responsible for facilitating site visits and church plant trips
• Set and reconcile trip budgets
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• College degree preferred
• 2:6 training (done or willing to go through)
• Strong missions experience, long term or short term
• Strong ministry experience as staff or lay leader
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
