Regional Facility Oversight Technician | Southeast Christian Church

Are you the Facility Oversight Technician we’re looking for to ensure the buildings and grounds at Southeast campuses are well maintained and honoring to our Lord and our guests? This fulltime role will support the South Louisville, Arcade and Beechmont campuses.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

  • General oversight of building and grounds; provides hands on, direct preventive and corrective maintenance activities at multiple campuses.
  • Adhere to the policies, procedures, standards and practices established by SECC and as directed by the Facilities Manager.
  • Utilize the Tracer HVAC management system to efficiently control building comfort systems.
  • Coordinate and lead volunteers in the area of building maintenance and landscaping.
  • Perform light carpentry, painting, renovation and similar building upgrades and maintenance.
  • Collaborate and assist all SECC Maintenance Teams for repairs, and general building and grounds maintenance at all locations. Attends regular meetings at the Blankenbaker Campus.
  • Coordinate and serve as liaison with contractors for building/grounds maintenance and repair, snow removal, mowing and similar activities. Assist when needed.
  • Conduct plumbing, HVAC, and other system repairs to a standard established by the Regional Facilities Manager.
  • Generate and complete work orders for all tasks, insuring that a record of work performed is maintained using the work order system.
  • Ensures that all volunteers and contractors work safely in accordance with all SECC policies and OSHA regulations.

 

OUR MUST HAVES

  • High School degree (or equivalent) required
  • Experience in building maintenance
  • Skill in use of tools and power equipment
  • Must have basic knowledge of electrical distribution, fire suppression and HVAC systems
  • Self-starter; can work unsupervised and act independently to take approved corrective action
  • Able to effectively establish, coordinate and lead a volunteer team
  • Spiritual maturity
