We seek a fun and passionate individual to do frontline Ministry work, encouraging and discipling our middle and high school aged students. The student Associate will partner with other ministry staff to disciple, equip and shepherd group leads to be unleashed to minister to our students. They will help build upon and foster the connection of students and families through communications (emails, social media, etc.), pioneering student ministry gatherings and small groups and collaborating with other ministry staff.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Fostering disciple-making relationships with volunteers and students
  • Equipping and empower volunteers to shepherd students
  • Building relationships with parents.
  • Equipping students to reach their lost peers.
  • Helping students take their next steps with Jesus and in life.
  • Connecting students through intergenerational experiences.
• Although some functions vary in roles from campus to campus, there are certain expectations that exist throughout all roles of SE Students.
  • Community: Direct partnership with a local school.
  • Students: Lead a small group of students.
  • Volunteer: Recruit, shepherd, and equip volunteers.
  • Team: Attend “All Team” meetings and join cross-campus collaboration.
  • to MSM & HSM males during programming and work week
  • Recruiting, developing, and shepherding volunteers who are themselves investing in and shepherding students
• Empowering volunteers to support MSM & HSM programming/events in all capacities
• Participating in all middle & high school ministry gatherings at the campus
• Collaborates with other SW Campus ministries/staff

Required Education, Ministry Experience, and SECC Membership:

· SECC membership required, or willingness to become a member

· Bachelor’s degree in Ministry (Bible Degree optional)

· Demonstrated alignment with the SCC Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision & Strategies

· Engaged member of SCC or willingness to become one
