Do you love kids and want to help them discover God, His story, and their place in it? Do you have leadership and organizational skills? The part-time SE!KIDS Ministry Associate will coordinate all areas of ministry for the Kindergarten through 2nd grade students, while maintaining alignment with the mission, vision and mantra of Southeast Christian Church.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

  • Assist the SE!KIDS Leader in all areas of ministry for K-2nd grade, including preparing for weekend services (curriculum, supplies, volunteers, etc.). Teach in small and large group settings, as needed.
  • Recruit, lead, and equip volunteers to disciple children in K-2nd grade; schedule volunteers for weekend services.
  • Partner with parents and equip them to disciple their children on a daily basis.
  • Help with events for children and families to connect outside of weekend services.
  • Participate with IN staff in outreach to the community.
  • Collaborate with other SE!KIDS staff at the IN campus and other campuses.

OUR MUST HAVES:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ministry experience working with children (paid or volunteer experience)
  • Good communicator (both written and verbally)
  • Organized
  • Flexible
  • Team player
  • Member of SECC who aligns with our statement of faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church mantra in tangible ways.
