Summary/Objective

The Women’s Ministry Associate is a team-oriented disciple-maker who is passionate about connecting women to Jesus and one another. The ideal team member will be a devoted Christ-follower who has a heart to invest in women and develop them to love and lead where they are. She will be a leader of leaders who is passionate about connecting women to the REAL Women community at Southeast Christian Church, Blankenbaker campus, and walking with them in their next steps with Jesus.

 

Essential Functions

  • Take ownership to lead, plan, and execute assigned programming initiatives for Blankenbaker women’s ministry; steering program growth and development as disciple-making communities both on and off campus
  • Identify, recruit, develop, and disciple volunteer lead team members in assigned programming initiatives to partner in the work of ministry
  • Collaborate with WM team to design, develop, and execute Blankenbaker women’s ministry program initiatives, including leader onboarding and mentoring programs
  • Collaborate with WM team to develop, plan, and execute Blankenbaker women’s ministry events
  • Collaborate with WM team to develop annual ministry calendar
  • Partner with other Blankenbaker ministries and collaborate across Southeast Christian Church campuses to ensure support of church mission and women’s ministry growth
  • Support Blankenbaker ministry staff presence at women’s ministry events and campus events, including weekend worship services
  • Cooperate with the Pastoral Care Ministry to provide support and care for the Blankenbaker community of women
  • Provide staff leadership support in Blankenbaker women’s ministry programming as needed
  • Champion the Southeast Christian Church senior leadership mission, vision, and model for disciple-making

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  • Undergraduate degree required

  • 4+ years of ministry experience in a multi-campus church preferred

  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (Blankenbaker campus) who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership authority established by the church
