The Operations Associate will assist and support the Student Ministry through the management and implementation of logistical processes dealing with the day to day operations, as well as, create workflow and accountability on ministry projects and events. In all things, this person will help to maintain alignment with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church. This is a part-time role. 

Essential Functions

• Inter-departmental Communication/Relationships
• Work with Events, Legal, MarCom, IT, etc. on various logistics as needed
• Manage ROCK data entry input and communication strategies
• Assist in ordering supplies
• Logistical preparation for HSM Groups on Wednesdays & MSM on Sundays
• Work with outside vendors, talent and venues for Student Ministry trips & events (including contracts, riders, communications, terms, payments, etc.)
• Assist in logistical input for major Student Ministry events (High School and Middle School Camp, etc.)
• Partnering within Student Ministry to brainstorm & develop ideas, concepts, people, training, process and strategies

• Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word, PowerPoint and/or Keynote.

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Event management, ministry and/or project management experience preferred
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
• Membership is required. So already a member or willing to become one.
