We’re a growing, multi-site, Bible-based community in the greater Louisville area with a passion for connecting people to Jesus & one another. We value:

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Serving as a bridge between the Blankenbaker campus and the surrounding communities of Buechel, Newburg, Highview and Okolona.
  • Fostering relationships with people, schools, churches, and organizations in those areas and unleashing SE members and attendees to love their community one at a time by living out SE’s Mantras.
  • Discovering and developing new ways to come alongside the community and equip them to take the next step and connect to Jesus and one another.
  • Collaborating with other Community Engagement leaders and teams to provide a holistic approach to reach and serve all our neighbors.

 

 

Our Must-Haves

  • Must have a love for the lost in our community and a demonstrated ability to serve and interact well with people from all ages and walks of life
  • Excellent organizational skills; prioritizes work and stewards time, energy, and resources in a way to accomplish goals in a timely and effective manner
  • Ability to utilize digital tools and software to organize people, processes and events that have multiple strategies and fulfill administrative duties including manage emails, phone calls, calendars, and correspondence
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Ordained into ministry (or pursuant within first 90 days of employment)
  • Must make best effort to live in, or move to, assigned region within first year of employment
  • Must be a mature Christian who is thoroughly grounded in the Word of God, demonstrates a   commitment to the doctrine and practice of Southeast and the Restoration Movement
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one); supports our Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church; lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways. https://www.southeastchristian.org/sermons/mantra/be-the-branch-2
