Description

Are you an outgoing and passionate individual with a calling to praise and Worship ministry? We are looking for an individual to join our central Worship team in a developmental role to partner with our internal ministries to facility engaging and expressive worship experiences. The Worship Leader Associate is someone that is dedicated to investing in and shepherding others to lead and share Southeast’s Vision and Mission.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Weekend Worship, Worship Team – main services, all campuses as needed.
  • Planning services with the Worship Team; Thursday and Sunday Services.
  • Shepherd, lead, disciple, train and equip volunteers.
  • Develop and act as point person for “auxiliary worship environments” – other gatherings outside of main weekend services that require live worship and reflect our unified worship culture.
  • Running rehearsals for campuses
  • Special events – as needed for church-wide worship events (nights of worship, conferences)

  • Leading teams of people and meetings (Staff and Volunteer)

  • Good with receiving and giving critical feedback
  • Strong work ethic and is a team player/collaborator
  • Commitment to unity among other ministries, church, and communities.
  • Lead Vocal ability
  • Musical Instrument ability (preferably guitar or piano)
  • Familiarity with Track editing and playback (Ableton)
  • Platform and off platform communication skills

 

 

Required Education, Ministry Experience, and SECC Membership:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry from a Bible college is preferred but not required
  • Experience in worship
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways.
