The SE!KIDS Ministry Leader will be responsible for shepherding, training, equipping and leading all staff and volunteers serving in SE!KIDS Ministry at their campus. The SE!KIDS Leader will oversee birth through 5^th grade and will partner with volunteers and families to equip them to do the work of ministry, not only on Sundays, but also the “other 6 days” of the week. The SE!KIDS Leader will collaborate with SE!KIDS across all campuses to ensure a Gospel-focused, safe, and nurturing environment where we can “Discover God, His Story and Our Place in It! Everything will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the overarching mission and vision of Southeast Christian Church

This is what you would get to do!

• Oversee Ministry from Birth – 5^th Grade; SE!KIDS staff, volunteers, kids and their families
• Work in collaboration with the SE!KIDS Creative Team to plan and program the Weekend Experience; including curriculum, scheduling volunteers, ordering supplies and maintaining design and orderliness of rooms
• Attend and participate in all appropriate staff and team meetings
• Participate with campus staff in on-going outreach to the community (special events, worship nights, etc.)
• Develop and maintain annual budget for SE!KIDS Ministry
• Engage, train, and empower volunteers to disciple children
• Work in collaboration to develop, implement, and leverage various family discipleship resources; such as, SE!KIDS@home and Forever Treasure for the purpose of “unleashing families” to do the work of ministry in their homes
• Meet regularly with the Campus Pastor to discuss vision and implementation of Children’s Ministry at the Prospect Campus.
• Recruit, shepherd and equip leaders and volunteers to continue growing as disciple-making followers of Jesus!
• Develop ways to equip parents to be the primary Disciple-Maker in the home.

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

· Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry preferred

· 3 – 5 years of experience in Children’s Ministry or related field preferred

· Engaged member, or willing to become, member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
