CAM Ministry Associate- South Louisville Campus
Are you passionate about College-Age Ministry? Do you want to see young people unleashed to impact our city and the world? Check out this opportunity to lead College-Age Ministry (CAM) groups at the South Louisville Campus. You’ll connect men and women ages 18-25 to a community that fosters connection and spiritual growth. You'll provide support and resources for groups and create opportunities for engagement and discipleship.

THIS IS US:

We’re a growing, multi-site, Bible-based community in the greater Louisville area with a passion for connecting people to Jesus & one another. We value:

    • Connection over production (John 15:5).
    • Risk & adventure over comfort (John 3:8).
    • Innovation over tradition (Luke 5:19).
    • Personal engagement over attendance (Luke 9:62).
    • Expressive worship over religious rituals (Luke 7:38).

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

  • Provide vision and structure for the CAM groups model at the South Louisville campus.
  • Partner with universities and college ministries to create intentional pathways and strategies for students to make SE their home church.
  • Empower and equip volunteers and leaders to foster community, growth and discipleship in their group.
  • Foster a culture of belonging and purpose; help people build relationships with one another and pursue service opportunities within CAM, SE and/or with our local partners.
  • Invest in relationships and be committed to the people leading, both on campus at SE but also in the lives, homes, and workplaces of people throughout our city.
  • Create a strategy for building community within the volunteer team(s), understanding that genuine relationship and belonging foster longevity and commitment.
  • Create a strategy for discipleship within the groups model.
  • Plan local missions opportunities within the infrastructure of the groups community.
  • Work alongside the CAM Lead Collaborator and the College Ministry team within a collaborative ministry model. Participate in and lead at CAM events and programs such as High School Camp, classes, annual retreats, and conferences.
  • Perform various pastoral duties such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, and counseling.

OUR MUST HAVES:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Ministry/Bible degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ministry; College-age ministry experience preferred.
  • Model a Christ-like way of living in life and doctrine.
  • Ability to develop and equip others with intention and clarity; actively challenge and encourage others to take the next step in their development and provide them with resources and opportunities to reach their full potential in Christ as it corresponds to their specific calling and gifting.
  • Ability to navigate the complexity of multi-site ministry with wisdom and effectiveness.
  • Ability to shepherd and pastor people with grace and truth.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate people; create energy and engagement that fosters a commitment to work towards goals and accomplish the mission.
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the statement of faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out the mantras of SE in tangible ways.

If this sounds like you, let's talk!
