Student Ministry Worship Leader     l      Southeast Christian Church

We seek an outgoing and passionate individual to partner with our Central Worship Team and the Blankenbaker Campus Student Ministry. The Student Ministry Worship Leader will collaborate with the Central team to carry out the vision of developing a vibrant student worship culture that supports the Vision/Mission and Strategies of Southeast. They are someone that is dedicated to investing in and shepherding volunteers to lead and share that same Vision/Mission.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

· Plan, schedule and execute student worship services at the Blankenbaker Campus

· Provide pastoral care for students and volunteers within the scope of the ministry team

· Recruit and develop student worship volunteers

· Host team nights to build team culture and cast vision for serving in student worship at the Blankenbaker campus

· Support SE!KIDS to build a pathway from Kids to Students programming at the Blankenbaker Campus

· Partner & serve alongside the student ministry staff in shepherding students/leaders inside & outside the walls of the church building

· Lead the initiative of student program space upkeep (instruments, tracks, program supplies, production, clean up, set up, etc.)

· Be an active planner, creator & leader of student ministry programming ideas (tactile worship response elements, bible studies, takeaways, etc.)

· Musical skills and lead vocal ability

· Proven volunteer recruitment and training skills

Required Education, Ministry Experience, and SECC Membership:

· SECC membership required, or willingness to become a member

· Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from a Bible College is preferred but not required

· Experience leading worship (minimum of 3 years)

· Ordained Minster of the Gospel
