Our E-Town Campus team is currently recruiting for a part-time Café Manager. The Café is an important meeting and greeting place for those who may visit or attend.  This person is vital to ensuring the smooth running of the Café by overseeing all processes. If you enjoy and relate well to people from a variety of backgrounds, this may be an opportunity to consider. This part-time position will average around 10 to 12 hours per week and requires weekday and weekend shifts. A potential schedule is:

• Sunday – 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Wednesday's 9 - 11 AM and 7 to 8:30 PM
• probably 2 hours + per week for ordering supplies etc .

Essential Functions Include:

• Opening/closing the Café
• Opening/closing the register and making deposits
• Sending electronic fund transfers
• Ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory
• Coordinating catering and consumable orders for ministries
• Recruiting volunteers, coordinating serving schedules, training and investing in Café E-Town volunteer team
• Any additional responsibilities related to the Café

Essential Competencies:

• Ability to lead by example through encouragement and involvement with volunteers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will interact with staff, guests, vendors, and the community on a regular basis
• General computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Must be able to lift packages possibly up to 50 pounds
• Prefer Cafe or Restaurant experience
• Baptized believer in Jesus Christ with a heart to follow Him
• Must be a member of Southeast Christian Church, who attends the E-Town Campus
• Embrace and support the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church.
