Summary/Objective
The Short-term Logistics Associate is responsible for leading, overseeing, developing and fostering a culture surrounding International short-term mission trips and site visits to SECC partners. The Short-term Logistics Associate will help to maintain alignment with the mission, vision and strategies of Southeast Christian Church as it pertains to mission trips.
Essential Functions:

Process International short-term/site visit applications via online system (ServiceReef)

Collect, process and track all forms needed for trips including visas, state department registration and SOS and Gallagher insurance.

On-going communication with Southeast mission partners, team leaders and team members regarding financials and logistics pre-trip.

Prepare materials for team leaders for first team meeting and retreat.

Debrief with team leaders and available team members post-trip alongside appropriate attendees.

Work with Legal Department regarding high-risk releases, trip specific.

Assist with Launch Weekend, Team Leader Training and committee meetings.

Post and report trip contributions, i.e. cash and checks and maintain excel sheet for accountability.

Coordinate, when applicable, team retreats.

Post trip expenses on trip budget sheets and request partner and trip leader on-field expense checks as well as cashing all checks.

Facilitate pre-trip team leader meetings (give trip folder and funds, etc.)

Assist with updating and preparation of trip materials.

Required Education, Experience, and Membership:

3 years working in Ministry
-
High school diploma required
-
Mission experience desired but a willing to learn acceptable.

Engaged member of SECC, supporting the Statement of Faith and submitting to the leadership established by the church.
