The Video Director will lead a video team that oversees the creative and functional use of live video within the Blankenbaker Worship Center (BB WC). The live video feed serves the in-room experience as well as being sent to both the online and regional campus congregations.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD GET TO DO:

• Partner with the Broadcast Team Production Director, Broadcast Team Leads, Creative Team, and Weekend Executive Producer to design and create live video applications beneficial to all programming happening within the Blankenbaker (BB) Worship Center (WC) venue
• Direct all aspects of live and broadcast video involved in weekend services and BB WC events
• Manage all live video assets and video spaces within BB Worship Center
• Lead, recruit, equip, schedule, encourage, and lead through disciple-making of the BB WC video team which includes staff, contractors, and volunteers
• Create and oversee a live video training program to increase quality volunteer participation
• Actively participate in weekly team meetings
• Develop and adhere to annual video budget, including video improvements and equipment upgrade plans
• Develop and maintain healthy relationships with Production Arts Ministry, Worship Ministry, Preaching Ministry, other ministries and campuses

YOU KNOW WELL:  

• how audio, lighting and staging integrates with live and broadcast video
• pre/postproduction as it crosses over into live production
• Competency in live video production and HD/SDI video systems, switchers, cameras, matrix routers, recording gear and various digital video equipment
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, ProPresenter and various video applications
• Ability to problem-solve and clearly communicate solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership abilities especially when it comes to developing and equipping contract/volunteer leaders of differing skill levels
• Ability to think creatively both to solve problems and accommodate ministry event needs
• Must be passionate about creating excellent experiences including a willingness and enthusiasm to partner with ministries in executing events outside of the weekend experience

OUR EXPECTATIONS!

• 4+ yrs live video production experience, preferably as a staff member, will consider volunteer experience
• Experience in leadership roles in either a medium or large church environment
• College Degree or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated alignment with SE statement of faith
