What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

  • Discipling high school students and volunteers with an intentional strategy
  • Overseeing the high school ministry “connections" process
  • Partnering with the HSM Lead Pastor in all strategies and initiatives
  • Participating in all high school ministry gatherings at the campus
  • Actively engaging in outreach to local high schools, with a direct partnership to at least one local school
  • Leading a small group of students and investing in them relationally and spiritually
  • Recruiting, shepherding and developing volunteer leaders; unleashing volunteers to engage in ministry
  • Attending “all team” student meetings and actively participating in cross campus collaboration

  • Team-player mindset with strong leadership skills
  • Project management skills; highly organized, gifted in administration
  • Strong relationship building skills with students and adults; a natural disciple-maker
  • Ability to multitask and remain self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility in schedule in order to meet ministry needs
  • Creative thinker with innovative problem solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree; minimum 3 years of ministry experience with students and volunteers
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways.
