Description

Summary/Objective

The Partnership Development Leader will identify, develop, implement, and manage SECC’s Global Primary Strategic Initiatives (PSIs). They will ensure the alignment with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

 

Essential Functions

  • Identify/Develop/implement/manage SECC's Global Primary Strategic Initiatives (PSIs)
  • Regular site visits to PSIs
  • Assemble and deploy needed resources for projects with partners
  • Ensure complete financial accountability working directly with partner and accountability team volunteers
  • Report to missions committee at meetings every other month on progress of partners and potential projects for future funding
  • Work with Short-term logistics team on trips going to partners. Including setting what trips we go on, what trips will do, and help with setting budgets, choosing and training team leaders,
  • Lead Partnership Development team
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Competencies

  • Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and general computer skills
  • Organization skills a must
  • Ability to multi-task; Self-Starter
  • Ability to work through strategy development sessions
  • Office environment experience
  • Experience with working with different cultures both locally and abroad
  • Knowledge of mission strategies and philosophies
  • Able and willing to travel long distances on planes
  • Ability to create and manage a budget
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ministry Mindedness
  • People Skills

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  • College Degree or equivalent experience
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
