Description

The Crestwood Campus Student Ministry Associate encourages, disciples and equips group leaders to unleash them to do frontline ministry, as well as grow others to do the same. This role plays a key part in partnering with parents and leaders and plays a key role in focusing on our female student groups and keeping in alignment with the mission of Southeast Christian Church.

What the job entails:

  • Disciple-making relationships with volunteers and students
    • Ministering to MSM & HSM students (focus on youth girls) during programming and work week
    • Recruiting, developing, and shepherding volunteers who are themselves investing in and shepherding female students
  • Empowering volunteers to support MSM & HSM programming/events in all capacities
  • Owning the operational and administrative responsibilities for all student ministry programming/events, including summer camps
  • Managing communication with families and students (email, social media, etc.)
  • Assists student ministry leader in implementing healthy small group culture
  • Connects interested/potential volunteers to our on-boarding process
  • Participating in all middle & high school ministry gatherings at the campus
  • Leading a small group of female students
  • Engaging regularly with local schools and building relationships with the students and staff
  • Collaborates with other CW Campus ministries/staff
  • Collaborates with student ministries across campuses

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Bible degree [optional]
  • Demonstrated alignment with the SCC Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision & Strategies
  • Engaged member of SCC or willingness to become one
