Description

The Campus Support Ministry Leader is a dynamic and gifted individual who serves as the key leader in overseeing day-to-day operations, building and developing volunteer teams, collaborating with contractors and providing pastoral care. This role requires a unique blend of strong administrative skills, pastoral leadership and a commitment to the church’s missions, vision and strategies.

 

Essential Functions

· Provide oversight to all ministry support areas of the campus.

· Review of monthly budget statements and preparation of annual operating budget.

· Work in collaboration with Campus Pastor on all facets of ministry and operations at the campus

· Ensure action items are captured and implemented for/by campus team leaders.

· Serve as vital link between the ET Campus and other SECC campuses, assuring coordination in the area of ministry support.

· Implement care and proper oversight of facility working in conjunction with facility policies set in place at the Central Support Ministries. Ability to work with outside contractors and vendors.

· Recruit and lead volunteer teams: parking, safety & security, facilities, medical and Café.

· Pastoral duties as necessary, which could include: hospital visits, funerals, weddings, baptisms, MOC etc.

 

Essential Competencies

· Must be able to multi-task on a daily basis and have a bias toward action.

· Possess strong organizational skills with an to detail.

· Able to anticipate and look ahead to understand and meet future ministry needs, projects and church-wide initiatives.

· Proficient understanding of financial statements, and experience in budgeting.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively convey information and ideas.

· Experienced and have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

 

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Prior team leadership and/or ministry experience preferred

· Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church or willing to become one.
