The SE!KIDS 3^rd – 5^th Ministry Associate will provide oversight for our 3^rd through 5^th grade ministry and will be responsible for shepherding, and equipping volunteers serving in SE!KIDS Ministry at their campus. The SE!KIDS Associate will also help with administrative, supply orders and curriculum for the Children’s Ministry and will collaborate with SE!KIDS leaders and other staff ensure a Gospel-focused, safe, and nurturing environment where we can “Discover God, His Story and Our Place in It! Everything will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the overarching mission and vision of Southeast Christian Church.

This is what you would get to do!

• Oversee Ministry from 3^rd – 5^th Grade; SE!KIDS staff, volunteers, kids and their families
• Implement Ministry mission of connecting people to Jesus and one another by:

o Assisting family Pastor in planning and programming of weekend services

o Writing and editing curriculum

o Ordering supplies and maintaining organization of rooms

• Attend and participate in all appropriate staff and team meetings
• Participate with campus staff in on-going outreach to the community (special events, worship nights, etc.)
• Work with Children’s K – 2^nd associate and ministry leaders closely on transition points and overall team responsibilities.
• Engage, train, and empower volunteers to disciple children
• Work in collaboration to develop, implement, and leverage various family discipleship resources; such as, SE!KIDS@home or the purpose of “unleashing families” to do the work of ministry in their homes

• Great communication skills – verbal, writing and willing to learn stage presence awareness and skills
• Forward Thinker
• Motivator and recruiter to bring volunteers in to serve in the ministry
• Administrative skills

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• Bachelor’s degree in ministry Preferred
• Volunteer experience in Children’s Ministry or related field preferred
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways.
