What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

  • Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer leaders for various roles, including the connections center, guest central, and the cafe; unleash volunteers to do the work of ministry.
  • Oversee the appearance and preparation of rooms and common areas for weekend services, groups, and special events.
  • Oversee the preparation for groups; update the website, gather supplies, prepare rooms, etc.
  • Maintain social media accounts for adult ministries.
  • Update ROCK records for new members, baptisms, connection cards, groups information, etc.
  • Maintain effective daily communication with staff, members, visitors, volunteers and the community; collaborate effectively with staff at other campuses.
  • Lead special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with creating and managing ministry budgets.
  • Provide administrative support for the Connections and Women’s ministries. Respond to emails, update calendars, return calls, etc.

Our Must-Haves:

  • Excellent relational and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective problem solving skills; ability to take initiative
  • Administrative skills; highly organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; ability to use/learn ROCK database system
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; at least 3 years of related ministry experience, including leading volunteers
  • Engaged member of our church who supports the Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church and lives out our church mantra in tangible ways.
