Our IT ministry is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented, and servant-minded individual to join the data integrity team. The person in this position will be a data steward who is responsible for ensuring accuracy for ministry-critical (sometimes sensitive) information that flows through our church management system. This role will be working from an existing set of reports to merge duplicate records plus make and approve person/business data changes. This person may need to consult third party lookup services or make phone calls to church attendees to verify data is up to date and entered correctly. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, be a strong process thinker, and see the larger picture of how data interacts together across campuses and ministries. In addition, this person will be adding step-by-step instructions to existing documentation when gaps exist or when policies and procedures for data management within this role need to be revised. The ideal candidate will look to automate first, before having to manually tackle any task. Understanding of reports through Excel or comparable tools is a must. Familiarity with any process improvement or church management software is a major plus as well.
