What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Guiding adults who attend the Blankenbaker Campus to take the next step in their spiritual growth and guiding them through Four Chairs discipleship.
- Work with the Connections Engagement Leader and team to develop and implement strategies for the Blankenbaker campus.
- Carry out multi-faceted assimilation process from visitor to engaged member for the Blankenbaker Campus in alignment with Southeast’s 4-chair disciple-making strategy.
- Actively infuse Southeast’s DNA culture into the life of our church (Mantras, Vision, Mission).
- Participate in New Member process and classes.
- Work with Connections Engagement Leader and other Connections Associates on creating a thriving disciple making / small group culture at the Blankenbaker Campus.
- Equip volunteers to do the work of ministry.
- Participate in normal pastoral responsibilities; such as, hospital visitations, baptisms, weddings, funerals, MOC, etc.
Our Must-Haves
· Bachelor’s Degree in Bible, Ministry, or Christian Education
· Ordination
· 3+ years ministry experience in a church setting
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Thorough understanding of what Biblical disciple-making means and the ability to communicate it to others
· Strong work ethic and a team player
