Summary/Objective

The Production Director will work alongside each of the River Valley Campus staff to fulfill the ministry of the campus and Southeast Christian Church as a whole. This person will be responsible for directing all technical aspects of the River Valley Campus including audio, lighting, staging, and video, including the leadership and development of volunteer teams. Everything will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the mission of Southeast Christian Church of connecting people to Jesus and one another.

Essential Functions

• Oversight and direction for all aspects of Weekend Programming at the River Valley Campus and special events
• Collaborate with River Valley staff to innovative ways to reach current attendees and new people such as live streaming and social media
• Recruiting and training volunteers working within the Production Arts Team
• Managing and oversight of the Production Arts budget for the River Valley Campus
• Oversight of the Production Arts volunteers
• Support Production Arts at other campuses as needed

Essential Competencies

• Be a motivated team-builder with a heart for pastoring volunteers
• Be a proven leader with natural communication skills
• Digital capabilities, such as, Live Streaming and Social Media to be able to cast vision on reaching the community using media platforms
• Have a good working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, staging, and rigging
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once, yet still stay focused
• Detail oriented
• Skilled in process improvement and project management
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Hard-working, but know how to have a good time; must have a sense of humor

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• College Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in leadership roles in either a church or corporate environment
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways.
