SE!KIDS Ministry Leader- South Louisville

The SE!KIDS Ministry Leader oversees children ages birth through fifth-grade and partners with volunteers and families in ministry. This leader will have a heart for the South Louisville community and help bridge the gap between the church and home. Everything will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the mission, vision and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversight of Children's Ministry from Birth – 5^th-grade
• Shepherd, lead, disciple, train and empower a base of volunteers to disciple children
• Come alongside parents and guardians and equip them to disciple their children on a daily basis
• Collaborate with other SE!KIDS Leaders on weekend programming and curriculum
• Implement family discipleship- such as baptism
• Attend and participate in all appropriate staff and team meetings
• Participate with campus staff in on-going outreach to the community (events, worship nights, etc.)
• Develop and maintain annual budget for Children's Ministry
• Schedule volunteers, order supplies, and maintain orderliness of rooms

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven communication skills
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task
• History of collaboration
• Ability to model a way of living that inspires others to follow
• Intimate walk with the Father, Spirit led, and grounded in the Gospel
• A Southeast Christian Church member (or willing to become one) who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church.
