The Operations Assistant is the perfect position for someone wanting to learn how to staff leagues and help maintain a clean and safe environment for sports and fitness programs and events.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Assist the Sports & Fitness Operations Associate with facility maintenance
• Staff and oversee sports programing
• Set up and tear down for sports leagues, indoor and outdoor
• Ensure equipment is in working order and make repairs as needed
• Assist or staff the concession stand and Control Center
• Recruit and help train volunteers
• Organize and execute special projects
• Promote the vision and goals of the Sports & Fitness Ministry

Our Must-Haves

• High School Graduate
• Highly relational; good communication skills to provide a connection point for participants
• Basic knowledge of tools
• Physical ability to set up and maneuver large and heavy sports equipment
• A team player willing to collaborate and creatively solve problems
• The ability to manage conflict with grace and truth and address problems when they arise
