SE!KIDS Operations Associate

The role of the Operations Associate is to serve our SE!KIDS team, volunteers and families by ensuring our processes and policies are maintained with integrity in accordance to the vision and strategy of Southeast Christian Church. This role will assist the SE!KIDS ministry team to ensure that all SE!KIDS spaces, events, and programming are safe, running smoothly, and executed efficiently in alignment with the mission, vision and mantras of Southeast Christian Church. This person will Be the Branch while connecting to both new and existing SE!KIDS families assisting in registrations, check-in, and clearing volunteers to Unleash the Full Potential of the Church. 

 

Essential Functions:

Work alongside the SE!KIDS team to:

  • Implement Operational strategies throughout the ministry, and suggest improvements.
  • Partner with the Blankenbaker SE!KIDS Operations Leader to support budget maintenance of our 7 budgets.
  • Partner with the SE!KIDS team for event planning and preparations, primarily through registration management/auditing and logistics.  Attend camp and events as assigned to manage operational duties.
  • Partner with SE!KIDS Operations team and IT on complex check-in processes, variances, updates, and other technology support needs both during the week and during worship services.
  • With SE!KIDS Operations and campus operations teams, ensure safety and security measures, repairs, installations and maintenance are implemented and maintained in SE!KIDS areas.
  • Monitor record keeping and updates for policies, including ensuring sticker sheets are scanned by staff weekly and policies are effectively implemented.
  • Manage connections for new volunteers, completing the clearance process from start to finish in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining First Impressions strategy and processes,
  • Assist Operations Leader in project management for capital projects and similar tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least two years of experience in children’s ministry and/or related operational duties.
  • Extremely organized; ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Awareness of safety/government/medical policies and procedures to ensure a safe ministry environment
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Highly effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Effective budgeting skills
  • Proficiency in Excel other programs
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways.
