Summary/Objective

Are you an ordained pastor who is gifted in administration and shepherding? Are you skilled at managing projects? The Campus Support Pastor will coordinate the day-to-day operations at the River Valley campus and perform other pastoral duties, while maintaining alignment with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

Essential Functions

• Provide oversight to all ministry support areas of the campus with a ministry-minded, people-focused heart
• Review monthly budget statements and prepare annual operating budget
• Work in collaboration with the Campus Pastor on all facets of ministry and operations of the campus
• Ensure action items are captured and implemented for/by leadership
• Serve as liaison for the campus to each of the other campuses in areas of ministry support
• Ensure care and proper oversight of the facility, working in conjunction with facility policies set in place at the Blankenbaker Campus
• Provide pastoral care in ministry areas as directed by Campus Pastor
• Other pastoral duties as necessary, including hospital visits, funerals, weddings, baptisms, MOC, etc.
• Be present at weekend services as a pastoral presence to help people connect to Jesus and one another

• Must be able to anticipate and look ahead to see what is needed for future ministry events, projects, and all-church endeavors
• Ability to understand financials and budgeting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office programs

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• An ordained pastor with 3+ years ministry experience in a church setting; leadership experience preferred
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
