The Logistics Associate is responsible for the essential functions surrounding the Southeast Christian Church mission trips and site visits to SE partners. Enthusiasm for working with people and getting them unleashed to serve on a SE mission trip while maintaining the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church is a must for this role.

This is what you would get to do!
- Manage and ensure all applications, supporting documents, and payments are received by the appropriate deadlines
- Maintain ongoing communication with Mission staff, trip leaders, and SE partners to ensure logistics are in order before departure
- Build and manage trip budgets within ServiceReef online system
- Prepare, gather, and distribute Unleashed gear and resources prior to mission trips
- Secure insurance and additional funds for team travel
- Post and report trip contributions to the Accounting Ministry
- Debrief with team leaders on return
- Work with other ministries (IT, Legal and Safety and Security) on update processes pertaining to mission trips
- Assist with other mission staff on Mission Kick Off Weekend, Team Leader Training and Global Mission Health Conference
- Respectfully communicate policies of the mission trips to SE staff, members and those inquiring more info
- Assist with other daily administrative tasks
You should already own these:
- Process-oriented, strategic thinker that is able to plan 1 to 2 years ahead
- Desire and conviction to see our church unleashed to serve locally, domestically and internationally
- Highly organized with ability to multitask and remain self-motivated
- Flexibility in schedule in order to meet ministry needs
- Ability to adapt to change
- Passion to give excellent customer service and prioritize participant & partner experience
- Leadership skills in order to lead mission team leaders and volunteers
- Inquisitive learner with problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain long-term healthy work relationship with peers, supervisor, and church leadership
- Steady demeanor under pressure
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proficient in Word and Excel, with a desire to learn other programs
Required Education, Experience, and Membership
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in ministry either full time or as a volunteer with leadership responsibilities
- College degree
