Student Ministry Associate l Southeast Christian Church – Indiana Campus
We seek a fun and passionate individual to do frontline Ministry work, encouraging and discipling our middle and high school aged students. The student Associate will partner with other ministry staff to disciple, equip and shepherd group leads to be unleashed to minister to our students. They will help build upon and foster the connection of students and families through communications (emails, social media, etc.), pioneering student ministry gatherings and small groups and collaborating with other ministry staff.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Disciple-making relationships with volunteers and students
- Ministering to MSM & HSM students during programming and work week
- Recruiting, developing, and shepherding volunteers who are themselves investing in and shepherding students
- Empowering volunteers to support MSM & HSM programming/events in all capacities
- Assisting in the operational and administrative responsibilities for all student ministry programming/events, including summer camps
- Managing communication with families and students (email, social media, etc.)
- Assists student ministry leader in implementing healthy small group culture
- Connects interested/potential volunteers to our on-boarding process
- Participating in all middle & high school ministry gatherings at the campus
- Leading a small group of students
- Engaging regularly with local schools and building relationships with the students and staff
- Collaborates with other IN Campus ministries/staff
- Weekly or Biweekly 1:1’s with Student Ministry Lead with focus on care, feedback, and development
- Collaborates with student ministries across campuses

Required Education, Ministry Experience, and SECC Membership:
- SECC membership required, or willingness to become a member
- Bachelor's degree in Ministry (Bible degree optional)
- Demonstrated alignment with the SECC Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision & Strategies
