Description
Are you passionate about discipleship and service? Do you have excellent administrative skills and love connecting with others? This person will support all campuses with volunteer engagement projects, including: metric development, database support, volunteer application support, and data entry. This problem-solver will also lead a volunteer team at the 920 campus to promote serving opportunities among all ministries. Ability to work on weekends is required.

- Assist and make improvements in church-wide projects, including: the volunteer application process, the serving website, social media volunteer postings, and volunteer recruitment projects, as directed by the Volunteer Engagement Leader.
- Maintain the serve@secc.org inbox and respond to calls and emails about serving in a timely manner.
- Work with the ROCK database team to develop volunteer database processes that benefits all ministries. Train staff on ROCK and other processes.
- Develop an atrium presence during weekend services at the 920 campus to connect the church to serving opportunities. Recruit and develop a team of volunteers to lead the atrium presence.
- Create a monthly publication that highlights timely volunteer opportunities. Locate and share volunteer stories that encourage our church.
- Connect with all ministries on a quarterly basis to ensure volunteer processes are meeting their needs; connect with 920 ministries on a monthly basis.
- Create a weekly report that summarizes 920 serving events, needs, and updates; maintain volunteer metrics.

- Thorough understanding of how serving connects to the mission of Southeast and the disciple-making process.
- Highly adaptable and self-led; ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
- An influential, self-aware, and relational connector.
- Deadline/goal driven.
Required Education, Experience & Membership:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Administrative experience and experience working with volunteers.
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church with a demonstrated alignment to the mission, vision, and strategies of the church.
