Summary/Objective
The Singles Pastor will lead & equip a team of Kingdom Workers and will partner with other ministries to challenge singles to take their next step in their faith journey. The Singles Pastor will work diligently to maintain alignment with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

Essential Functions

• Partner with Connections Pastor to lead, manage, and disciple singles weekend groups

• Connect single men with Men’s Ministry such as Man Challenge and Get Healthy groups.

• Connect single women with Women’s Ministry such as Real Women and other women’s ministry events

• Partner with leaders from other ministries to strategically engage young adults in various ministry opportunities

• Develop & execute relational singles “connection” events

• Assist Connections Ministry Team with new member follow up

• Develop & execute a large group, worship/teaching series for singles

• Partner with Community Pastors to coordinate neighborhood groups targeting singles.

• Partner with Sports and Fitness, Stewardship, Missions, Children’s, Next Gen, Encounter, & Men’s Mentoring in developing strategic environments targeting getting singles connected into the life of SECC.

• Building relationships and shepherding singles to become disciple-makers.

• Leading volunteer teams

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• Undergraduate degree required

• 2+ years of ministry experience preferred

• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
