Summary/Objective

The Women’s Ministry Leader will follow Jesus’ example of disciple-making and equip women to make disciples who make disciples. She will cast a very clear vision for women’s ministry and, prayerfully and humbly, lead the women’s ministry staff and volunteers as they align with the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

 

Essential Functions

  • Casts a clear and compelling disciple making vision for the Women’s Ministry staff and Real Women community in the context of Southeast mission overall
  • Develops and executes a strategic plan to regularly challenge Southeast women to take their next step in following Jesus along the Intentional Pathway: Essentials, Thrive, Imitate
  • Shepherds Women’s Ministry staff and Real Women community through conflict resolution
  • Collaborates with other ministry teams in order to advance a culture of Disciple-Making
  • Communicates with Women’s Ministry Team the decisions and directions from leadership in regards to the bigger picture of Southeast
  • Teaches, on a consistent basis, in the Thrive sessions
  • Develops Women’s Ministry calendar, yearly goals and plans in alignment with SECC
  • Spiritually leads, develops and coaches the Women’s Ministry staff and Real Women leaders
  • Creates and leads Women’s Ministry toward a culture of volunteerism by equipping staff, leaders and ministry teams
  • Creates culture of mission through peer to peer relationships and evangelism
  • Responsible for budgetary decisions and fiscal management of Women’s Ministry
  • Partners and collaborates with Adult and Next Gen Teams at Blankenbaker Campus to create a disciple making culture at Southeast
  • Partners and collaborates with Women’s Ministry leaders at Southeast campuses to advance mission and to create disciple making culture within Women’s Ministry
  • Conducts employee check-ups and Annual Year-End Review

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Bible College/Seminary degree strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of ministry leadership experience in a 2000+ member church; background or understanding of Restoration Church movement preferred
  • Engaged member (or willing to become) of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
