Summary/Objective
The role of SE Video Director is first and foremost to be a disciple-maker. The Video Director will lead a video team that oversees the creative and functional use of live video for Blankenbaker. The objective of this role is to create and maintain sustainable and reliable video systems, as well as the development of volunteers for all weekend services, special events and programs occurring within their venue. Everything will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the mission, vision, and strategies of Production Arts and Southeast Christian Church.

Essential Functions

• Provides leadership development for the members of the video team
• Create a live video training program to increase quality volunteer participation
• Continually looking for ways to enhance live video creativity
• Recruiting, equipping, scheduling, encouraging and disciple-making of the live video team
• Direct all aspects of live video involved in weekend services and events
• Partner with Prod. Arts Producer to design and create live video applications beneficial to all programming happening within the venue
• Active participant in weekly team meetings
• Develops and adheres to annual video budget
• Create and implement live video improvements and equipment upgrade plans
• Managing all live video assets and video spaces
• Develop and maintain healthy relationships with other ministry departments and campuses

Essential Competencies

• Have a solid working knowledge of how audio, lighting and staging integrates with live video
• Have a solid understanding of pre/post production as it crosses over into live production
• Competency in live video production and HD/SDI video systems, switchers, cameras, matrix routers, recording gear and various digital video equipment
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, ProPresenter and various other video applications
• Must be a developer and equipper of volunteer leaders
• Flexibility based on regular weekend services and special events
• Strong in leadership, creativity and live video technology
• Must be a Team Player… Humble, Passionate and Self-Aware

Required Education, Experience, and Membership

• 4+ yrs. live video production experience
• Experience in leadership roles in either a medium or large church environment
• College Degree or equivalent experience
• Champion the Production Arts vision/mission… “Humbly working together to create environments where people can connect to Jesus and one another”
• Be a member, or willing to become a member, of Southeast Christian Church
• Demonstrated alignment with SE statement of faith
