Description
The Worship Tech Ministry is looking to fill a Live Video Production Leader role. This person must be skilled in live video production and have a passion for teaching, leading, and pastoring volunteers. They will lead the volunteer video team for weekend worship services, be the point person for video needs for events in the sanctuary, and maintain the video and projection systems.
Job Responsibilities include:
· Ensuring content is tested and ready for weekend services.
· Recording services for satellite campuses, broadcast TV, Website, and radio.
· Collaborating with Worship staff, Lighting Designer, and Technical Director for service planning and execution of visual elements.
· Training video team volunteers at all campuses (Directors, camera operators, shaders, video switcher operators)
· Maintaining relationships with volunteers beyond the weekends when they serve.
· Being the point person for any video requirements for any event that is in the sanctuary. This includes pre-production meetings and the production.
· Keeping up with budget, researching new equipment, assist on large projects.
For serious consideration, candidate must:
· Be highly skilled in live video production. This includes directing multi camera productions and operating broadcast equipment.
· Understand the visual presentation needed to create a worship service.
· Be able to create a visual worship experience through live video production.
· Have strong leadership capabilities, be highly relational, and be able to lead a volunteer team with the church vision in mind.
· Be a teacher, servant, and shepherd with the volunteers.
· Be proficient with Pro Presenter.
· Have a demonstrated alignment with Southeast Christian Church's Statement of Faith.
The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in Video Broadcast Communications and have experience in large scale church video production experience OR 3-5 years in live video production or large scale church video production.
